With a week left for Mothers' Day, you still must be wondering what to gift your mom this year. Well, the American electronic commerce and cloud computing company Amazon.com's Amazon Echo (the wireless speaker and voice command device) has now unveiled its ability to order flowers from floral and gourmet foods gift retailer, 1-800-Flowers.
Amazon offers its own flower delivery service, but it's not clear why Alexa is working with 1-800-Flowers instead of that, the Verge reports.
Amazon had recently announced that its voice command device would also add events to the Google calendar by voice.
Amazon Echo also supports Swedish commercial music streaming, podcast and video service Spotify.
The Washington-based company had also launched new KidsMD skill recently that can help the parents decide to call a doctor for their children on symptoms like fever, cough, headache, rash, vomiting, sore throat, diarrhoea, fatigue or shortness of breath. By using KidsMD on once's Alexa device, the people would also be able to ask for dosing advice based on their child's weight or age.
