Rocky, who was arrested from a dairy farm in Bodhgaya last month, has confessed to his crime.
The police had earlier claimed to have recovered a Beretta pistol that was used to commit the crime and said that the weapon was registered in Rocky's name.
A court in Gaya had sent Rocky to 14-day judicial custody.
A Special Judicial Magistrate Court had earlier rejected the bail plea of Teni Yadav, who is named in the FIR in connection with this case.
Teni, the cousin of main accused Rocky, surrendered before additional chief judicial magistrate Om Sagar, who remanded him to 14 days judicial custody last week.
Teni was allegedly travelling in the SUV with Rocky and bodyguard Rajesh Kumar, when Aditya was shot dead near police lines under Rampur Police Station area after the vehicle of the JD (U) MLC's son was overtaken by the car in which the victim and his friends were sitting.
